SOCIAL JUSTICE STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Friday, April 12th, 2019 Noon to 12:45 PM

Beginning on Madison St. side of Ottawa County Courthouse

315 Madison St., Port Clinton, Ohio  43452

All are invited to join in praying the Stations of the Cross around the Ottawa County Courthouse on Friday, April 12th from noon to 12:45 PM.  The ecumenical prayer will focus on current social justice issues linked to each station.

Starting on the sidewalk on the west side of the Courthouse, the group will walk around the Courthouse, stopping for a short prayer at each of the 14 stations.

The Stations of the Cross have a long and varied history as a means of meditating in a spiritual pilgrimage commemorating Jesus’ suffering and death.  Please join us as we call to attention the many social issues our country and our world struggle with.

The prayer event is organized by the Social Concerns Team of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
