We are a ministry that gathers our youth together to share ideas, stories, learn, help others, grow in our faith, fundraise, as well as other activities. Our calendar is put together using many resources; school calendars, community calendars, other area youth ministries events, and our own parish activities. For the most part, we meet periodically on Sundays and a few other days through out the year. Our calendar includes activities much as: fundraising events that gets the parish involved, Christmas caroling to our sick and shut-ins, game night, meaningful movies nights, guest speakers, leading stations of the cross, a retreat or two, a summer conference, and so much more.
We have two ministries-one for middle school as well as one for high school. Middle school students, grades 6th-8th, gather on the opposite Sunday of their PRE classes in the evening. High school students, grades 9th-12th, meet once a month for catechesis on Sunday afternoons as well as different days and times of the year.
All students of this age group are welcome to join and any adults who would like to get involved are welcome as well. If you would like any more information, please contact Stephanie Hunker Youth Director at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office at 419.734.4004
